it's well shot. it 'feels' like a real commercial, but it's also as forgettable as a real one too. Why would anyone buy an overpriced, overhyped product with no style whatsoever? Anyway, its a decent spot. -Tudor

nice, but too bad they used an iTrip made for the regular iPod instead of the iTrip mini which actually fits.

Doesn't make me want an IPod but it does make me think about getting satelite radio for my car

So not "McDonalds" like the person below is saying. This is gooooood.

sorry, but I didn't really get it. not even after twice watching it. and it's too mcdonald's like (insert "I'm loving it" and a couple fat-soaked burgers and it works perfectly for them)

It sure looks like a commercial, and maybe that's its problem.

Spot doesn't quite capitalize on the "premium" nature of the Apple brand... seems like it could be for any personal music gadget with an FM transmitter. Technically, that's a nearby FM receiver it needs, not merely an FM signal (those are everywhere). Still doesn't sell me an iTrip -- I rarely drive in the middle of nowhere. It's got to work in the city to sell me on it.

good music choice.

It's too P&G like: you see what you're told. It's too much into the eye of the consumer.

Love it! Interesting, sexy and cool.

I think the V.O. is confusing... it says "use any nearby FM signal and take your ipod on a wireless i-trip"... shouldn't it be "use any nearby fm RECEIVER and take your...."?

The ad is really nice but the only thing bad is that the other i-pod ads I've seen have been about the music - and the music in this one is lame. Also woudn't bother with the voiceover at the end - benefits are clear in the ad. But then gain I ain't in the US market so don't know how obvious you have to be in America. No where near as good as their launch ads or the Ney York one with the guy walking in front of the posters.

And this piece of shit represents racial discrimination at it's worst. The dumb assholes are white males. A lot of them. The "thumbs up" are female, lively, intelligent, sexy and "dark" skinned.

I want an I-Pod and an I-Trip after seeing this ad - and I'm an XM owner with 35 gig of MP3s on a laptop as well. The wireless benefit it very nice for those who don't have the luxury of an old-fashioned FM Modulator-through-the-cigarette-lighter, and the purpose of the product is really shown by the guys, not the girls - the fact that an I-Trip improves the trip; nice to see a "With I-Trip" / "Without I-Trip" comparison in one spot.

Product demo tied to sexuality.... effective.

Now there's a great spot. Direction, artdirection, casting, photography, concept. Also tells a story, and explains a product without any dialogue (other than the VO) Great job.
