I am shooting a spec spot for tide right now. This was great very creative. I didn't see it coming and anyone who says the did is lying. Let me know how this turns out. I would love to have you on my set if you are down in Orlando!

It's been viewed over half a million times, just from this posting. I "tagged" this video, so I can keep track of how often it's been seen... so far, about 425k views from passing this around, and 70k views directly on this site. -Maury

Ew. Fun idea, but...I don't know if seeing the stain was the best solution. I kind of knew what was up from her expression.

Really more gross than funny, this would never air on T.V.

If you are going to do a Tide commercial, you should keep it clean. This spot doesn't really present a clear cut problem that resolves in a few seconds with the use of Tide. A good commercial appeals both to the company who's product your presenting and to the consumer. That's why you keep it funny, but not gross.

It's a spec like that people remember whether they like it or not and therefore keeps you in their minds! Nice job!

didn't work for me...maybe too graphic...it leads in the romantic (believing them to be husband and wife) and then the laundry sucks....thats a chore shared in the household...my first reaction was she was leaving of embarasment....sorry

Just a quick note - a while ago I added some "remote tracking" code to this quicktime... and I happened to take a look at the stats for this spot. As of today (6-26-05) it has been viewed about 57,000 times on this site.

However, through the magic of viral propogation, it has been passed around and has been viewed a whopping 223,000 additional times on various computers around the world.

Interesting.

I slightly enjoyed it enough to tease it for it's backwards camera cuts. The girl falls or rolls to the left and the covers get mysteriously yanked to the right. Mm-k! Now that's funny!

It doesn't work...sorry! Creativity is one thing...Marketability is another.

This spot makes it point. Just had more potential. The sell took to long. Why is she throwing her panties off and he still wearing his briefs? Why does he turn around? We could have heard a door slam and that makes him turn around to find her gone. As for the stain, good luck getting somethinglike that on air. Tide isn't exactly targeting adolescent to young teen boys. Christopher
