Had a hard time rating the "advertising value" for this because it didn't make me want to go out and buy lingerie, but I certainly wanted to watch it again because the girl was so hot. The music was a little intense for the personality of the the spot.

Great Cinematography. Clever Idea. Definitley a pick up. Love the girls accent don't know if she has the V.S. look. She is definitley hot, she should be proud of that face and body. Also a great actress. This commercial just doesn't scream Victorias Secret, more like Hanes! Second bigest thing music is not right. Too overpowering!

I like it for the entertainment and advertising value it provides. The spot says everything about confidence. So much confidence, that women may feel empowered to reveal their sexiness (through Victoria Secret) the first moment they get - even in an airport where taking off articles of clothing can be a bit embarrassing. Envious women in the spot would have really driven it home. NYCE!!!!

Clever idea, well executed. This can be an effective spot for both men and women demographics - empowering for her, memorable for him. A couple of points - a) the music is used for the "wow" factor, but I think it is heavier than needed. b) For the the "shock" factor of wearing this product, how about people at the _end_ of the line turning heads? Then one drops a bag on the floor in response. c) The last line of copy is weak (as others noted). Perhaps make a stronger statement about who is wearing the product by simply saying "Sorry..." (in a "I couldn't help myself, but I feel great" manner).

Good concept, decent production design, shot well. The model isn't really a great actress and the ending is unbeleivably weak. The set up of "Please remove your metal objects." I don't think is loud enough in the beginning, I completely missed it the first time through. There is a continuity error, the guard calls the woman through the through the metal dectector twice. Repeating the same action, when they got the coverage. I think the reaction shot of the line is a missed moment, it moves way to fast off some really great faces.

This is pure genius! Beautiful concept - its exactly what I would expect a lingerie company to want - promoting the idea of being confident in their line. And the rest of you who thought this wasn't good - lets see what you've come up with or done. STOP BEING JEALOUS! Maybe a shot from behind couldve added a 0.5 but thats a personal preference.

If I was a chic, it doesn't make me want to buy Victoria Secret. However, great production value and direction! The lighting added a sleek, cool feel. This spot almost inspired me to do a Vic Secret spec.

feels much more like a beer ad than a vic secret spot. the production you pulled together is impressive but the "feel" and look of the film is lower budget in some way. The tag line is confusing, forced, not what a security guard at an airport would say so it leaves me scratching my head. The concept isn't a bad one but to really make it a "runway" i'd think you would want to throw in people taking pictures, flashbulbs popping, etc - so it feels more like the airport security area has been transformed.

nothing original about this idea. there's no payoff, either. "honey, just your metal objects" seems unnecessary. this has a small feel to it, the film should be much prettier and the editing is so-so.

show off the product, music, movement captures the attention of the audience (as does the security threat possibility-yeah...I noticed that hidden nuance) it appeals to both sexes as both are now as comfortable purchasing this product both online and at the retail outlets

This spot is solid, no question... buuuuut... what kinda suprises me is the seemingly competative nature of this team, when it should be more about constructive critique. It seems that whenever someone else's spot is ranking high, this spot (as well as this team's other spots) all reappear "suddenly" with their highest ratings yet... and the other top spots all take tremendous hits in their rating. Eventually the spot dips... another spot lands high and wham... all the spots from this team's jump back up!! Hmm... let's connect the dots here. Obviously you have a team the boosts your ratings with "10's" and knocks everyone else's with "0's". I mean, MAYBE it's just a huge coincidence... but probably not. C'mon people, let's keep the playing field even. You guys obviously have the biggest budgets to do these spots... far more than everyone else... leave your advantage at that... but dragging down other people's stuff to keep yours at the top is a bit, um... insecure in one's ability... to put it nicely.

(Below Comment) Advertising has one purpose regarding commercial products, and that is to increase sales! This spot displays the product, makes it sexy, and (equally important) is memorable. If asked after viewing this spot what product it was for, I would bet most would say Victoria’s Secret. As a female, I found it very funny and a great change compared to the company’s current ad’s, which appeal mostly to men. Great spec piece!

love this spot. completely disagree with any negative opinions below. i don't think it's skanky at all. i find it sexy and funny in the end. two of the best attributes of any commercial. plus i found the chick's acting quite perfect. i know she's a model and she probably can't act. in a true thespian kind of way. but for this particular spot her non-chalant, indifferent way made it funnier. there's only one thing i would do differently and this is minor. i would have had the people in line behind her be buisnessmen in suits. then you could have had some reaction shots of them. anyway, much respect for this spot. i'm glad to see that there are other people out there who really go all out on their reel ironchef

This spot represents top quality in regards to direction, production and concept. This could easily be compared to (and in some cases exceed) any prime-time commercial. Well done!

It’s well shot per se, but the concept is tasteless and ridiculous. It’s not sexy or teasing, or even subversive – it’s just skanky. This makes the current Victoria’s Secret spots seem sophisticated. Bottom line, if you’re making specs to get them sold, I suppose aiming lowbrow ain’t that bad of an approach, but this concept would be lowbrow even for a Budweiser commercial

through the roof production values, well lit, that model chic can't act, unfortunately for all the work that went into this spot, its easily forgettable, although i'm sure its going to get a score of at least 12 (anything with naked chics in slo motion has to get at least a 10). -Tudor
