I have to diasagree with everyone. I thought the set was dull. I could feel the empty space all around me. I thought the acting was mediocre, and most of all it wasn't funny. I think that the guy should return from the Coke machine and then end the commercial. The whole bit witht the guys changing uniforms etc.. Kind of confusing and unclimactic. Shots look good, Color and wardrobe great, Bad Casting, bad storyline at the end. Don't push a commercial after the joke already works. Bigest rookie mistake.

This is not so much a critique as it is a question...How do people feel about it being 45 seconds versus the more usual 30?

Like many others, I really liked this one -- if not simply for the fact that all on screen behavior was motivated by the product. Production deserves a top grade.

this is great - i read you ran into some legal issues with coke which were ultimately resolved. did the spot ever get anywhere with them/lead to work? as i'm sure you know, they'd never have raised such a stir if the ad had not been as strong as it is.

If I opened a production company, I'd pick this guy up in an instant. Great. Great. Great. So simple and wonderful. what can I say? I'm jealous he's got such a great spot!

this is one of the best (if not THE best) spots on this site. very funny, unexpected ending. and it's ALL for the product. Amazing spot. beautifully shot. Music supports well, editing is top-notch. Concise. No wasted shots. I love it.

this rocked...no clear indication of where it was going, kept viewer (me) watching...intrigued, this was truly enjoyable to watch...I heard of your 2 spots due to the difficulties that the CC company had with the spec that you had made...they should be shakin' yur hand and sayin' "pleased to meet ya...here's lots of money, please produce more!"

Excelle t excellent all around. Great concept. Fabulously directed and acted. Very nicely shot (as far as one can tell in this format). Music/sound was right on. All the elements worked together, as well. I don't use the term synergy lightly, but there it is folks. Coke should air this. but they won't because it's too good.

Powerful concept, remarkably well done (i would have liked some background animation at checkpoint) I think there's room to play with the edit. One thing: are they switching back and forth to "get out of countrree" or are they going back and forth between 2 different ones? Either way, impressive work! -Tudor
